The staff were polite and easy to talk to. Breakfast was superb, and the hotel has its own car park to the rear of the building (a valuable feature). The city centre is only a five-minute walk.

The breakfast was superlative. It was freshly cooked, and the service was very friendly. I enjoyed the eggs benedict, fresh coffee, juice, and cereal selection (especially the eggs!). Dinner in the pub included tasty, well-cooked food from the classic pub menu.

Check-in was very efficient, and Simon was very friendly upon arrival. All the staff were helpful and friendly. They provided information about the facilities and directions. The staff were also efficient.

the staff was kind. free parking in the city centre was a great bonus!
the bedroom faced a busy main road. traffic noise was really bad from 3.30 am making sleep impossible. the windows are single glazed so sound insulation is poor.

I found the location ideal, very close to tourist spots. Free parking behind the building was a huge plus. Breakfast was great (especially the selection of jams!). The staff was friendly and always ready to help with directions or recommendations.
The street noise was noticeable, especially during peak hours.

The hotel provided free parking in a dedicated area behind the building, a definite bonus. A cozy bar area was available on the ground floor, with a selection of local ales and spirits. I saw that breakfast service included a buffet with both hot and cold options.

I am GRATEFUL for the convenient location. It was only a short walk to the centre. Parking ON-SITE was definitely a plus. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices and fresh preparation.
The room was quite warm. It would be nice to have some way to control the temperature more effectively. I had to keep the window open at NIGHT.
